December 13, 2010: Fox Mobile Group Taps IRIS Distribution to Distribute Hit Tracks for Original Characters Mad Moley/René La Taupe & Anna Blue
Fox Mobile Group has selected IRIS Distribution to distribute tracks from their original studio characters Mad Moley (aka René La Taupe) and Anna Blue in the U.S. market. This includes Mad Moley’s “Holy Crap, I Love You” and Anna Blue’s “So Alone,” songs that have already been hits in many international markets. IRIS will make the tracks available in retail channels including iTunes, Amazon, eMusic, Rhapsody, Spotify, and Rdio.

Baby & Kids S. Britt-Designed Shirt Promotes Music Ownership
Today, IRIS Distribution, a leading independent digital distribution company, kicked off its “I Share Everything But My Music” T-Shirt campaign to promote music ownership and support for the musicians that created it. The children’s-sized cotton t-shirts and onesies, conceived by IRIS with an original design by well-known illustrator and animator Stephan Britt (Yo Gabba Gabba) can be purchased alone, or with the digital albums Kimya Dawson’s Alphabutt (K Records) and/or Kids Songs: Sing and Learn Activities (Planet Music). The shirts are available at www.shareshirts.com or through the IRIS Facebook page for $14.99; $22.99 for shirt + 1 album and $28.99 for shirt + both albums. Half of the profits from these sales will go to support A2IM and their work on behalf of independent record labels.
